We're either going to have a debt or currency crisis, or a reform of U.S. entitlements in the next few years. But the Blue Luigis will win in 2026 and 2028 if that doesn't coincide with a tax increase for the wealthiest Americans. It's unrealistic to pretend that is avoidable.
