Wu Shuo learned that according to Digital Asset, former Bithumb CEO Lee Sang joon, who was sentenced to two years in the first instance for accepting bribes (such as watches and premium members) from virtual currencies XYDO and QVING, was granted bail by the Seoul High Court on June 11, ending his six-month detention since December 2024. The bail conditions include restrictions on leaving the country, prohibition of contact with persons related to the case, and payment of a security deposit of 50 million Korean won. Vidente's co defendant Jiang Zhongxian and former golfer An Chengxuan have also been released on bail.
