Getting good at on-chain is more important than perps trading now IMO. I always recommend that people learn fundamentals before technicals. Makes it much easier to manage emotions, spot trends, understand speed/info asymmetry, and other important concepts which good traders must master. If you eventually pick up perps, you'll be better for it. Good thing is, AI is making it easier than ever to learn to trade.
