New York Fed survey shows a decrease in inflation expectations

BlockBeats News: On June 9th, the New York Federal Reserve found in its latest survey that consumers expect lower inflation expectations for the next year than a month ago. The consumer expectations survey in May showed a 1-year inflation expectation of 3.2%, a decrease of 0.4 percentage points from a month ago. The three-year inflation expectation has dropped from 3.2% in April to 3%. The five-year inflation expectation has dropped from 2.7% to 2.6%. Previously, the Trump administration cancelled some of the high tariffs implemented in early April. At the same time, the US CPI as of April this year has further dropped to 2.3%. (Golden Ten)
