I witnessed the launch of the National Service Athletes Program, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Sports to support elite athletes during their national service. I was also pleased to meet with members of the Program’s first cohort, representing diverse sporting disciplines. We’re committed to supporting our youth as they serve the nation, empowering them to combine military discipline with athletic excellence. Through the Program, we aim to nurture Emirati talent that will honour the UAE on the global stage.
