One reason the Fed can move slowly is because demographics are keeping labor tight. Population growth has tapered so much that fewer jobs are needed to uphold employment. 🟠Working age bodies rising ~33K/month on avg won't support 100K monthly 🔵payroll growth forever. Lower NFP prints are not enough reason on their own to justify policy easing. Not with this backdrop. Significant weakness will need to appear.
