Investment advisors become the largest holders of Bitcoin spot ETFs, while demand for Ethereum ETFs rises
According to CoinDesk, according to the latest 13F filing, the Bitcoin spot ETF assets held by investment advisory firms have reached $10.28 billion (nearly half of the total institutional holdings), equivalent to 124753 BTC, far exceeding hedge funds ($6.9 billion/83934 BTC).
Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas predicts that the current 13F reporting institutions account for about 20% of the total size of Bitcoin ETFs, and may grow to 35% -40% in the future.
Ethereum ETFs are also showing an institutionalized trend, with total holdings exceeding $1.06 billion (587348 ETH), of which investment advisors hold $582 million (320089 ETH) and hedge funds hold $244 million (134469 ETH), indicating that institutional investors are expanding their portfolio of cryptocurrency assets.
