BlockBeats News: On June 5th, according to official sources, GoPlus Security issued a security alert. Recently, new phishing attacks targeting EIP-7702 smart accounts have appeared on the Ethereum mainnet, BNB Chain, and Base Chain. In just three days of launch, thousands of addresses have been compromised, resulting in losses of over $10000 in encrypted assets. The attacker uses an address for authorization phishing, and once the user authorizes it, the address can automatically transfer BNB or other tokens that the user subsequently transfers. The GoPlus security team reminds users not to transfer money or authorize to unfamiliar addresses. The current 7702 scam is conducting large-scale phishing attacks using historically leaked private key addresses, so it is important to remain vigilant.
