According to official sources, Sonic ($S) will airdrop a total of 190.5 million S tokens to users in the first quarter to incentivize users and developers to participate in its ecosystem. The airdrop will also reward Opera historical event participants, Sonic Arcade users, and Shard NFT minters. The first batch of airdrops will be available for collection six months after Sonic's launch (around June 2025). Users can immediately receive 25% of the distribution, while the remaining 75% will be released linearly in NFT form for a period of 270 days.
