📍 GAIB: A New Paradigm for On Chain Funds to Invest in Real World AI Infrastructure
Under the AI craze, the core bottleneck is no longer technology or models, but the supply of high-performance GPU computing power. Thousands of AI companies around the world are seeking stable, efficient, and available computing power resources, bringing a new asset imagination space to the crypto world. GAIB is an on chain financial protocol that emerged in this context - it attempts to bridge the gap between on chain capital and off chain GPU operators (cloud/data centers), allowing users to directly participate in "computing power investment" and share profits.
@How is gaic_ai implemented?
Simply put, GAIB is a protocol that links on chain funds with off chain AI infrastructure. Its core product is AID, and the revenue is the real income generated by GAIB through investing in data centers (GPU financing loans). Users can buy AID with stablecoins (such as USDC) to receive fixed income or floating dividends, similar to subscribing to "yield rights".
The computing power behind this is supported by AI cloud service devices operating in multiple regions around the world, with revenue generated by real customers purchasing services.
Why did @ konyk001 do this?
The founder of GAIB, Kony, was a Web3 investor who focused on the intersection of AI and encryption opportunities. He has participated in investments in multiple DeFi and infrastructure projects, but after observing the market's enthusiasm for AI applications, he found that a core problem has not been solved: the money on the chain cannot reach the root of AI - computing power.
The demand for GPUs in the capital market continues to rise, but computing infrastructure can still only be financed through traditional methods. Kony realized that there was a huge gap and an overlooked puzzle in between: Web3's money should be able to be invested in these real assets, and priced, split, traded, and exited in the same way as DeFi.
So, he started designing a logic from scratch: allowing people on the chain to invest computing power, receive returns, and earn tokens, while ensuring that assets off the chain are verifiable, returns are traceable, and risks are controllable. This mechanism is the prototype of GAIB.
What is the vision?
Kony hopes to establish an on chain computing power market, making GPUs a "on chain asset" that can be manipulated by DeFi tools, subscribed by on chain users, and auctioned by multiple markets.
In his view, AI is the technological backbone of humanity for the next few decades, and the GPU that supports AI is the most cash flow and growth generating foundational asset. All financial innovations in Web3 should essentially serve this new type of asset with high certainty and high demand.
GAIB's goal is not just to securitize GPUs, but to promote the reshaping of real resources in the entire chain of finance. In the future, you may see GPU computing power in different regions being split into different revenue products, with on chain users participating like subscribing to bonds, and these GPUs in turn supporting global AI companies to deploy models, forming a complete closed loop. This will be a 'on chain computing financial system', a sustainable and asset backed mechanism innovation.
