On Wednesday, electric vehicle media InsideEV reported Tesla conducted its first driverless test drive on public roads in downtown Austin ahead of its robotaxi launch. Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that 10 Model Ys will first run in Austin’s safe zones, serving invited passengers.
