Avery, see this letter as it appears:
Long time no contact, sorry to disturb you due to that review.
As an old user who has been accompanying Aptos @ Aptos all the way, the past year and a half has not been easy, and it is not an exaggeration to say that 'every day feels like a year'. A few days ago, I posted a few sincere words on Twitter, which may sound a bit direct or uncomfortable, but they are indeed the most genuine voice of an early and long-standing supporter.
As far as I know, Aptos officials are aware that there is a thorn in their side in the Chinese section: Fengmi @ kuigas, which has caused you a lot of trouble. If there is any offense in their language, please forgive me.
Actually, during this period, I have wanted to find an opportunity to have a good chat with you and report to you in person the feedback from the community and my personal observations on the problems with Aptos. But every time I think about my broken English, I feel a bit stage fright. I have tried many times with @ BroLeonAus to communicate with the official team and provide feedback, but to no avail. It's a pity. The decline from the current market value of APT to 37 should explain all this: really not awesome!
To be honest, I have always respected you and had hope for Aptos.
Aptos is one of the few projects that fills me with both anticipation and disappointment. Although I know that the problem cannot be simply attributed to you personally; As a CEO, the burden on your shoulders is heavy, and you need to consider far more than just one domain. But from the user's perspective, I want to be frank and say that Aptos' team culture always gives people the feeling of being "superior". There is a gap between this and the spirit of co construction, consensus, and win-win emphasized by Web3. Not down-to-earth, I don't know how to express myself in English to make you understand!
But it's time for Aptos to change!
From the perspective of users, I sincerely hope that the Aptos team can be more down-to-earth, learn from the strengths of other excellent ecosystems, truly integrate into the context of Web3, start from users, promote the healthy operation of the economic flywheel within the ecosystem, and drive more wealth effects.
These words may be a bit straightforward, but they are all sincere. Thank you for your continuous efforts, and I look forward to the opportunity to chat with you.
