London based fintech company Merge has received approval from French regulatory authorities ACPR and AMF to become an electronic money institution (EMI) and virtual asset service provider (VASP). This enables Merge to provide cross-border payment services within a compliant framework, combining traditional fiat currencies with blockchain stablecoin transfers. Merge provides multiple services through a single API, including multi currency accounts, real-time payments, SWIFT connections, named sub accounts, and forex functionality. Enterprises can use their platform to efficiently process global invoice settlement, revenue repatriation, or payment of supplier fees in local currency.
