According to BlockBeats, on May 22nd, Cetus officially announced that as of earlier today, we have confirmed that attackers have stolen approximately $223 million in funds from Cetus Protocol. We have taken immediate measures to lock in the contract and prevent more funds from being stolen.
Currently, $162 million of damaged funds have been successfully frozen. We are working with the Sui Foundation and other ecosystem members to advance the next steps of the solution, with the goal of recovering the remaining stolen funds.
Most of the affected funds have been suspended from transfer, and we are actively seeking ways to recover the remaining portion. This matter is our top priority at present, and we will continue to provide updates through this channel. The complete event report will be released later
