Succinct announced yesterday that its token is PROVE, and the testnet Stage 2.5 for developers and validators will be launched in a few weeks.
@SucinctLabs has a fast pace, and many KoLs predict that big things are coming soon. SucinctLabs will bring us surprises in the summer.
PROVE has an initial supply of 1 billion and is an ERC-20 token issued on Ethereum. It has the following three core functions.
1. Payment: It is a payment token for the network. The requester uses PROVE to pay fees to the verifier.
2. Protecting the network: Protecting the network through staking, value distribution, and governance.
3. Incentive Network: PROVE incentivizes provers to provide competitive prices to requesters.
Among them, if the prover pledges the PROVE token, they can participate in the auction. At the same time, the pledger can also participate in protocol governance, update network parameters such as issuance rate, pledge requirements, and other auction details.
In addition, anyone can pledge PROVE and entrust it to the verifier to meet their pledge needs. The principal can also earn a small portion of the PROVE handling fee by providing financial security to the verifier. The pledger can pledge to a maximum of one verifier.
More information on token economics should be disclosed in subsequent documents.
Subsequently, stage 2.5, which will be released a few weeks later, is mainly aimed at application developers and validators. The incentive opportunities for developers and validators are coming soon, please prepare quickly.
