We have invested several billion dollars in small water projects through the Rural Water Supply Limited, which will benefit 38,000 Jamaicans living in rural communities. This is part of our continued effort to improve access to reliable, clean water for those who have been underserved for far too long. In addition to these efforts, we are advancing a major public-private partnership that is set to transform water access in the urban corridor. The Content Water Project is a 92 million US dollar investment that will deliver 50 million gallons of water into Spanish Town, Greater St. Catherine, Old Harbour, and sections of Kingston. These are not symbolic investments. They are real, strategic, and far-reaching projects that are helping to build a Jamaica where every citizen, no matter where they live, has access to the basic services they deserve.
