The Omni Foundation has repurchased 6.77 million OMNI tokens from early investors, accounting for 6.77% of the total supply According to Omni Labs' announcement, @ OmniFDN announced the repurchase of 6.77 million OMNI tokens (6.77% of the total supply) from early investors at a discount, reducing investor holdings from 20.06% to 13.29%. The repurchase funds come from the foundation's $18.1 million seed and Series A financing. The repurchased tokens will be transferred to the 'Community Growth' pool, reducing the total holdings of investors, advisors, and core contributors from 48.56% to 41.79%. This operation follows the established lock up terms and refers to the community first allocation model of projects such as Hyperliquid, aiming to optimize the token distribution structure. There is a premium between the current OMNI market price and the repurchase price.
