According to Decrypt, blockchain forensics company AMLBot reported that Tether's USDT freezing mechanism has a "money laundering loophole" due to delays between freezing requests and execution caused by multiple contracts. Since 2017, malicious actors have withdrawn over $78 million in funds on Ethereum and Tron, with Tron losing $49.6 million and Ethereum losing $28.5 million. The report states that 4.88% of blacklisted wallets utilize latency to complete 2-3 transactions. PeckShield confirms the existence of a vulnerability and suggests that Tether package freeze requests and signatures into a single transaction to eliminate time windows. Tether has not yet responded to the comment request. http://(wublock123.com)/index.php? m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=42518
