Vanguard is aum leader in nearly every major category (mutual funds, passive, equities, bonds, global, real estate), except two: ETFs and active. It is 2nd in ETFs but will overtake BlackRock in 12-18mo. That will leave active, where it is a respectable 3rd but much bigger hill to climb. (and yes, they are not even on map in crypto altho not sure i'd call that 'major' category yet)
