BREAKING: The number of homes for sale in Washington DC, surged +25.1% year-over-year during the four weeks ending April 27th, to 12,649, the highest since 2022. This marks the largest year-over-year increase on record. By comparison, active listings of homes for sale nationwide jumped +14.2%, the smallest increase since March 2024. Additionally, new listings in Washington DC soared +11.4%, to the highest since 2022. This is almost double the national increase of +5.8%. DOGE job cuts are changing the Washington DC housing market.
