According to The Information, Apple (AAPL. O) plans to adjust the pace of its iPhone releases next year to cope with its increasingly large product line. Apple's first foldable screen iPhone is expected to be released in the fall of 2026 along with the iPhone 18 Pro and Air series models. At the same time, the standard version of iPhone 18 will be postponed until spring 2027, to be released together with subsequent models of iPhone 16e.
Apple's current product line has expanded to six iPhone models, and with the addition of foldable screen models, the company needs to re plan its product release schedule to ensure more efficient management and marketing of the product line. Apple's first foldable iPhone will adopt a book like folding form instead of a flip design. The screen size of this model is 5.7 inches when folded, and will approach 8 inches when unfolded.
