Sonic Labs: Native USDC and CCTP V2 will be launched on the Sonic blockchain

Golden Finance reported that according to official sources, Sonic Labs announced that native USDC and CCTP V2 will be launched on the Sonic blockchain. After the upgrade, the bridged USDC (USDC. e) will be automatically converted to the original USDC without the need for code changes or asset exchanges. It is reported that the related upgrade may take one week, and it is expected that the Sonic Gateway Ethereum and Sonic Chain USDC (USDC. e) bridging activities will be suspended on May 6th to achieve the upgrade to native USDC.
