Jesse, the founder of Base, shared Base's development plan and strategic positioning in Asia during a Chinese community event. Jesse stated that Base has recruited a national leader in the Philippines and plans to expand its team in Indonesia and Singapore. In addition, Base will work closely with Chinese developers to provide more communication channels and resources. Jesse believes that on chain social platforms such as Zora can disrupt traditional models and return control to creators. For future token issuances, Jesse stated that Base currently has no plans to issue new network tokens and will continue to use ETH as a native asset to pay for gas fees. Base is committed to decentralized development, ensuring user autonomy over assets and fairness in transaction ranking. Jesse also introduced the Base Batches Global Developer Program, which provides resources such as funding, exposure, and mentor support to help developers transition from the creative stage to company development.
