Bitlayer announces the integration of BitVM Bridge into Monad testnet, unlocking new experiences for BitVM landing products

On April 28th, Bitlayer, a project based on the Bitcoin ecosystem BitVM technology, announced the integration of BitVM Bridge with the emerging high-performance Layer 1 Monad, allowing users to experience cross ecosystem BTC bridging functionality with minimal trust. Monad is an emerging high-performance Layer 1 network with over 9.8 million active users and over 69 million independent wallets. After the integration is completed, Monad's ecosystem users with a scale of millions will have the opportunity to directly experience the first BitVM based application, BitVM Bridge. They will bridge vBTC from BitVM Bridge Test Network (BitVMNet) to Monad Testnet, forge corresponding YBTC, and explore the possibility of financialization and interest generation of YBTC in the Monad ecosystem.
