SEC Chairman: Expected to bring significant benefits to digital assets, plans to collaborate with lawmakers to establish regulatory frameworks

According to The Block, Paul Atkins, chairman of the US SEC, said on his the fourth day that digital assets were expected to bring "huge benefits" and that he planned to cooperate with legislators to establish a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies. Paul Atkins said, "I look forward to engaging with market participants and working with colleagues in the Trump administration and Congress to establish a reasonable and applicable framework for cryptocurrency assets." It is expected that digital assets will bring "significant benefits," including reducing risks and cutting costs.
