When Paul Atkins, the new chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), made his first public appearance and attended the encryption round table on the the fourth day of his tenure, he said that he would work with Congress and the Trump administration to promote the establishment of a "reasonable and targeted" regulatory framework for encryption assets.
