Jamaica is on a strong path of economic growth and stability. Over the past decade, we’ve reduced our debt significantly, built record reserves, and maintained responsible financial management, even through global challenges. As a result, business and consumer confidence are high, and employment is at an all-time high. To keep this momentum, we must create more spaces for investment and jobs. That’s why projects like the Raintree Commercial Complex are so important. With over 15 billion in expected private investment and up to 5,000 long-term jobs, Raintree will support sectors like logistics, manufacturing, and tech. This is how we turn economic growth into real opportunities for Jamaicans. At the same time, our investments in security are paying off, crime is at a 25-year low, and murders are down nearly 37% from last year. With less crime, there’s more productivity. We’re also cutting red tape to make it easier to do business in Jamaica. All of this is part of a cycle we’re building, one of peace, productivity, and prosperity.
