THIS IS 💯 FINANCIAL ADVICE: NEVER send money to a celebrity, influencer, or popular account on X, YouTube or other social media platforms. These scammers are attempting to cash in on people like Scott’s good name and reputation. These scammers have become very sophisticated. Don’t trust an email that comes to you claiming to be from Coinbase/Kraken/ or Uphold Support, especially if one of these emails have a link to access your account. I would love to see a joint effort by the @SECGov @CFTC FinCEN, OFAC, & DOJ to operate a sting and catch some of these criminals. If you steal someone’s lifesavings I believe you should rot in prison. @SBF_FTX got off way too light IMO. As far as I’m concerned, if you steal people’s ability to achieve financial freedom or security you should be sent to @nayibbukele’s CECOT mega-prison!
