According to Cryptopotato, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson questioned the long-term development of Ethereum at an AMA event on Wednesday, stating that the blockchain may not survive for the next 10-15 years. The co-founder of Ethereum pointed out three major structural flaws: incorrect economic model, virtual machine design, and consensus mechanism, and criticized the Layer2 solution for becoming a "parasitic system" that failed to solve the core scaling problem and instead withdrew the value of the main chain. Although Ethereum currently maintains its maximum lock up limit (TVL), Hoskinson compares its situation to that of former tech giants MySpace and BlackBerry, predicting that users will gradually migrate to other ecosystems, especially the Bitcoin DeFi system.
