The Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX is waiting for a hearing in the Singapore High Court on May 13th to be granted permission to restart the platform and begin a compensation plan for users. The exchange was attacked by North Korean hackers in July last year, resulting in a loss of $234 million in cryptocurrency assets and causing the platform to suspend all withdrawals. If approved, WazirX will resume operations within 10 working days. Previously, the Supreme Court of India had rejected the lawsuit requests of 54 victims, stating that issues related to encryption policies were not within its jurisdiction.
