A US federal judge stated on Thursday that Google (GOOG. O) illegally monopolized two markets for online advertising technology, dealing another blow to the tech giant in an antitrust case filed in the United States. This ruling may give prosecutors reason to demand a spin off of Google's advertising products. The US Department of Justice has stated that Google should at least sell its advertising manager products, including the company's publisher ad server business and ad trading platform. Google may now face two different US courts ordering it to sell assets or change its business practices. The US Department of Justice has requested that Google sell its Chrome browser and take other measures to end its dominant position in online search. A judge in Washington will hold a trial on this request next week.
