According to Foresight News, ZKsync has released an update stating that after investigation, the administrator accounts of three airdrop distribution contracts have been hacked. The attacker called the sweetUnclaimed() function and minted approximately 111 million unclaimed ZK tokens from the aidrop contract. This transaction resulted in an increase of approximately 0.45% in the number of tokens in circulation, accounting for approximately 0.45% of the total token supply. This incident only involves airdrop distribution contracts, and all funds that can be minted have been minted. This method cannot be further utilized. The ZKsync protocol, ZK token contract, all three governance contracts, and all active token plan cap minters have not been affected by this event and will not be affected. The attacker still holds most of the funds in this account and is calling on them to contact security @ (zksync. io) to negotiate a refund of the funds and avoid legal liability.
