I just participated in the KOL event @ Bybit_official, let me briefly talk about the Bybit I observed one ️⃣ Why can Bybit become the 'second'? On the flight to Bali, I was thinking of a question: How did Bybit become the second in the industry? They did not choose the strategy of "face to face marketing", which means there is no overwhelming beauty operation, nor is there a founder who floods the screen every day@ Benbybit has only recently started appearing frequently on Twitter. But now I roughly understand that Bybit's strategy is: no noise, no fuss, work seriously. Give a few examples ·A user raised a small request for a "contract platter" during the meeting, only to find that it had already been completed and launched. ·In terms of coin listing selection, more emphasis is placed on project quality rather than blindly chasing hot topics. ·The pace of this activity is very tight, to be honest, it's a bit tiring, and there's a feeling of "coming to work" (exaggerated but real). ·The quality of advertisers participating in the event is generally good, and it is said that they only charged the cost price with zero sponsorship fees. When these details are pieced together, one can actually see a direction: this team is burying their heads in doing something valuable. two ️⃣ The 'regret' outside of doing things The event invited about 200 KOLs, and based on a rough estimate of $5000 per person, the total budget is around $1 million. But judging from the results—— Neither the dissemination power of the award-winning works nor the discussion heat on social media have fully filled this wave of popularity. I can understand that if the team's genes are 'practical', they often appear slightly weaker in terms of promotion, socialization, and packaging. I declare in advance that this is not a disadvantage, it's just a difference in choice. However, in today's attention scarce market, perhaps more energy can be set aside to think: How to get KOLs to participate in self driven dissemination? How to create more communication "hooks"? three ️⃣ The future of Bybit? At this event, Ben emphasized that Bybit's spot liquidity is also very strong, surpassing Binance on some trading pairs. But actually, what I am more concerned about is: where is Bybit's on chain layout? Currently, it appears that: OKX has clearly defined its spin off route, with centralized exchanges focusing on compliance and wallets burning money as on chain entry points. Binance connects the exchange with the on chain ecosystem through BNB, attracting full attention to build on chain Binance. And Bybit is still deeply cultivating centralized exchanges, which makes me both curious and confused: Is it a strategic choice or just holding back a move? This part was not mentioned in the event, and we hope to see more signals in the future. four ️⃣ personal statement All the above content is based on personal observation and feelings, without cooperation or advertising.
