State Council Tariff Commission: Impose an additional 50% tariff on all imported goods originating in the United States

According to Caixin News Agency, the State Council Tariff Commission announced today that starting from 12:01 pm on April 10th, it will adjust the additional tariff rate stipulated in the "Announcement of the State Council Tariff Commission on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Imported Goods Originating from the United States" (Tariff Commission Announcement No. 4 of 2025). The additional tariff rate for all imported goods originating from the United States will be increased from 34% to 84%.
