Back in August of 2022, OFAC put Tornado Cash contracts on the sanctions list. Since then, the Ethereum ecosystem has prioritized and worked tirelessly on solutions to strengthen Ethereum's censorship-resistance (with FOCIL, ePBS and more). Today, the OFAC sanctions on TC have been lifted but these solutions to increase Ethereum's CR are still going ahead. Though jobs not done until all of the charges are dropped against Alexey Pertsev and Roman Storm. All in all, congrats OFAC, you played yourself.
