In light of the recent incidents involving Elon, Tesla, and DOGE, my wife and I decided to order a new Tesla Model Y last night. Six years ago, we purchased a Tesla Model 3. At that time, I identified as a liberal and strongly supported Tesla's mission to promote sustainable energy. Though my political views have shifted since then, my belief in that mission remains unchanged. During Hurricane Helene, our power was out for almost four weeks, and our Tesla served as the neighborhood's battery bank and charging station for everyone’s devices. Eventually, we got Starlink, transforming our home into a neighborhood internet café. You only truly appreciate the significance of what @elonmusk’s companies are doing when you experience something like Hurricane Helene. Tesla, Starlink, and X undoubtedly save lives, and now DOGE is playing a role in revitalizing our country. Purchasing a new Tesla is the least I can do to express my gratitude.
