In terms of the resignation options being offered and accepted, the Dems again should sue to make sure the rules are being followed. That’s just a checklist item. MORE IMPORTANTLY, they should be negotiating excellent severance pay and benefits packages with the appropriate guarantees , (maybe even Elon will guarantee their severance 😎), to assure that all those who take the buyout, get paid. And @realDonaldTrump @elonmusk and @doge should work with the Dems to make the packages enticing enough that more fed employees take the deal, cutting the deficit even more You can’t tell me there aren’t hundreds of thousands of fed employees who won’t jump at the chance to get bought out with a legit, guaranteed severance package, with real money, benefits and job hunting support. Dems can be heroes to those employees. TBH , they should do it quickly while the economy is still strong and there are millions of unfilled jobs Once the Dems realize that not everything Trump and Elon do should be a fight, they can start doing the math and realize they can create win win options for both sides and make hundred of thousands of former fed employees really really happy. Back of the envelope math says Billions can be paid to those who are terminated , while saving taxpayers tens of billions over the next ten years. Come on Dems. Get these people paid !
