The K-line pattern on the 4-hour chart shows rapid rises followed by range oscillations. The latest K-line closed positive, indicating a recovery in buying power. The daily chart shows a previous strong upward trend, which after reaching a high point entered a consolidation phase at a high level.
On the technical indicators, the 4-hour MACD's DIF line has crossed below the DEA line, forming a death cross; the histogram is in negative territory, with short-term momentum relatively weak. However, the latest histogram negative value is narrowing, along with the price's higher lows, indicating potential bullish divergence, suggesting that the downward trend may slow. The previous significant rise and retracement both accompanied heavy volume, while the recent consolidation phase has seen a noticeable decrease in trading volume, so we need to be cautious of price movements without volume.
Operational suggestion: Continue to short around 2450 for Ethereum, with targets near 2350 to 2380, stop loss at 2500.
