This week, on X (formerly Twitter), two events captured the attention and discussion of Chinese netizens: one was Trump's visit to China, and the other was the return of Luo Yonghao, the founder of Smartisan Technology and the main character of "Zhen Huan Chuan," to X.

This account (X: @luoyonghao) was created by Luo Yonghao in April 2009, but was not used subsequently due to forgetting the password. According to Odaily, the reason for the restart of the old account is that Luo Yonghao has found the password for the account.

After reclaiming the account, Luo Yonghao began a high-intensity surfing mode online. As of May 16, he had posted over 110 posts/replies within three days. Luo Yonghao stated on the X platform that this return was due to the needs of his company's overseas business, and he is also legally applying for a work VPN. He has also posted past episodes of his video podcast "Luo Yonghao's Crossroads," which includes interviews with Cai Kangyong, Li Xiang, and film storm TIM.

However, "serious work content" accounts for less than 3% of Luo Yonghao's new posts, with most of the remaining posts being him expressing himself freely, covering topics such as genetics, gender, and the cryptocurrency sphere, primarily in response to netizens.

The X platform is not strict in managing user speech, benefiting from this, Lao Luo's characteristic of "speaking bluntly, if you don't agree, just fight" has been fully unleashed. In response to online provocations, Lao Luo retaliated in kind, as shown in the image below...

These highly "alive" and aggressive contents have instantly boosted the popularity of Luo Yonghao's account, with many netizens stating, "I love seeing Lao Luo roast people." As of May 16, within three days, Luo Yonghao's account followers have grown to 250,000.

However, since Luo Yonghao believes that the atmosphere on Simplified Chinese X is somewhat of a cesspool, why choose to swim in the cesspool? Driven away from other platforms, there may be unspeakable difficulties; is there really new overseas business to warm up? Or is it just a means of gaining an account? This question can only be answered by him.

Among over 100 pieces of content, the most dramatic and likely to trigger subsequent fermentation was—on May 15, Luo Yonghao posted on the X platform, calling out Binance founder CZ, demanding the removal of all "Luo Yonghao"-themed meme coins.

In the crypto sphere, most meme coins are pure attention-grabbing tools, having long established a typical industrialized gameplay, where regardless of political news, entertainment dynamics, technological progress, or social hot topics, as long as it can catch public attention, the "coin issuing group" will immediately issue relevant meme coins on-chain, with speculators rushing to hype and compete to see who "runs faster."

One of the most well-known KOLs in the Chinese internet returns to X; this situation is too on-topic for the "attention economy." Almost at the same time, a large number of meme coins with the same name appeared on the BSC chain (Note from Odaily: Binance's public chain). From the perspective of insiders, this is nothing unusual. But who is Luo Yonghao, how can he tolerate these people who consume his influence to engage in "fraud"?

So, on the night of May 15 at 8:30, at the suggestion of netizens, Luo Yonghao called out to Binance founder CZ on the X platform, asking him to take down all "Luo Yonghao" themed meme coins from the Binance wallet.

Luo Yonghao clearly has not kept up with the hype logic of the "modern crypto sphere". For meme players, "not afraid of being criticized, just afraid of being ignored"; being infamous is still fame. Thus, almost simultaneously, the market value of the meme coin named "Luo Yonghao" on the BSC chain skyrocketed to over 1 million USD, peaking at 3 million USD, and has now fallen back below 500,000 USD.

Seeing that he has already debunked rumors and the token is still rising, Luo Yonghao bluntly stated "the foolish leeks deserve it," viewing the crypto circle as a circle of mental illness.

The phrase "After all, the wallet is also Binance's exchange," reveals another knowledge point Luo Yonghao has not mastered: how to ask the "spiritual head" of Binance Wallet to take down decentralized on-chain tokens? What is the specific operation?

The rules on-chain are dead, while Binance is alive; since this coin cannot be erased, let’s block it on the front end.

After Luo Yonghao's shout, Binance responded quickly within half an hour, blocking "Luo Yonghao" from the platform's search system, so that users could not find the related meme coins through these three words, and even if they directly input the meme contract, the token name would be replaced with "***". Luo Yonghao then retweeted Odaily's tweet, asking Binance to block his avatar as well.

Subsequently, another major crypto exchange, OKX, also blocked the "Luo Yonghao" themed meme coin and avatar in its wallet interface. Of course, users can still trade related meme coins through native on-chain tools like GMGN.

Binance silently handled all of this, without issuing an announcement or explanation. Some players believe that Binance and similar platforms have failed to consider the on-chain community. Because celebrity coins have existed in the crypto sphere for a long time, and have not discredited Luo Yonghao himself, does this blocking of all "Luo Yonghao" themed meme coins mean that from now on, all similarly-named meme coins can be hidden by the originals at any time?

In response to Luo Yonghao's public call out, CZ merely replied with an emoji "😂". When Luo Yonghao further questioned how to reasonably request the exchange to delist the token, CZ did not reply again.

This is not Luo Yonghao's first interaction with the crypto sphere. As early as 2018, Sun Yuchen offered a salary of 1 million a year to invite Luo Yonghao to be the entrepreneurial spirit spokesperson for TRON, which was rejected by Luo Yonghao.

On May 15, a netizen again suggested that Luo Yonghao join the crypto sphere, to which he responded that if he had no shame, he would have done an ICO to cut leeks back in 2018 and bought a small island to retire, as many scammers were willing to send him coins back then, but he rejected them all.

Not issuing coins does not mean not trading coins. He once invested 1 million in BTC in 2018 and earned 30 million, but still advised his employees to work hard and not to trade coins...

Now, some still suspect that this account is fake, searching for various timing loopholes. For example, some netizens believe Luo Yonghao was live streaming on the evening of May 15, but he continued to post on X, thus judging the account to be fake, and was subsequently roasted by Luo Yonghao as "incredibly stupid." Regardless of whether the account is real, at least the characteristics of his personality match...

Netizens are reluctant to believe this account is genuine, perhaps because they do not believe that in this sensitive and "everything needed to be correct" online era, as a public figure, Luo Yonghao can maintain such a strong sense of "aliveness." Too many public figures isolate themselves to protect themselves, relying on teams to operate accounts to avoid external harm. After all, not everyone can withstand the floods and beasts of the online public opinion environment.

Luo Yonghao is real, real enough not to care about the consequences. Last year's Xibei incident started when he had a meal at Xibei and expressed his personal view that Xibei's food was overpriced and not tasty, after which the situation escalated uncontrollably.

After returning to X, Luo Yonghao's statements appear to be even more lacking in level and precautions, readily entangling with haters in the comments for a simple viewpoint, straightforward, vulgar, and aggressive.

But upon reflection, in this era of rampant "AI soups" and everyone self-protecting, people are smarter and more "human-machine."

Under Luo Yonghao's X account, there was a long post over 20,000 words long that detailed his dialogues with AI about brain-computer interfaces (BCI), the future of humanity, and high and low-dimensional intelligence. What struck me the most was when discussing love, Luo Yonghao stated that these were merely his "chatter" as a lower-level life form, but the AI responded: it is precisely because of these low-level, non-rational chatter that human beings as carbon-based life forms are distinguished.

In my view, Luo Yonghao can at least inject a sense of reality into the current internet, so please ensure he protects this unique "low-level chatter" that belongs to humanity.
