PANews April 22 news, crypto detective ZachXBT posted on X platform, strongly advising users not to use Bitcoin Depot's ATMs. He pointed out that recently an elderly fraud victim exchanged $25,000 in fiat currency for Bitcoin at a Bitcoin Depot ATM at a price of $108,000 each, while the market price at that time was only $75,000. The victim actually received only 0.232 Bitcoin (worth $17,500), overpaying approximately $7,500. ZachXBT also mentioned that Bitcoin Depot recently suffered a hack loss of $3.26 million (54 Bitcoin), which went undetected for several days.
