This Hong Kong Web3 Carnival will take place from April 20 to 23, expecting to attract tens of thousands of practitioners from around the world, covering the full spectrum of fields including technology, finance, compliance, and physical applications. The thematic summit has received joint support from the IEEE Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology Standardization Committee, the Zhuhai Fudan Innovation Research Institute WEB3.0 Research Institute, Hashkey, and council member organizations, which will focus on delivering multiple significant industry outcomes.
The summit's core theme is "Web3.0 Standardization Promotes Cross-Regional Ecological Collaboration," with an agenda full of highlights:
Keynote Address (11:00-11:30) will feature remarks from Yang Debin, Honorary President of the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association and representative of the 14th National People's Congress, relevant leaders from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, a member of the Malaysian government parliament, and several Hong Kong Legislative Council members including Qiu Dagen, to anchor the industry's development direction from the perspectives of policy and regulation.
Release of Four Major Achievements (11:30-12:00) The event will debut the "Asset Tokenization White Paper (Part Two: Industry Ecology)," simultaneously launching three asset tokenization-related standards, awarding new association memberships, initiating a demonstration of innovative applications for legal stablecoins, and signing agreements for industrial cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia, providing a practical reference framework for the industry.
In-depth Discussions Throughout the Day covering three major dimensions: standard interpretation, business innovation of stablecoins, and cross-border collaboration.
