Recently, I have been playing with #AI and consider myself a semi-advanced player of OpenClaw, having experienced the Skills products of various exchanges. To be honest, the best experience so far has been with #OKX and #Bitget. Today, I will focus on #Bitget's GetClaw.

1️⃣ Don't treat it like a search box; it is your professional trading assistant

Many people use the little lobster 🦞 as a price-checking tool, which is such a waste. You should regard it as a subordinate that works 24/7 without needing to sleep, has no emotions, and is fully committed to execution. Many new users use it by asking, “How much is BTC now?” – that's wasting resources.

My approach is, “Keep an eye on BTC for me; if the 4-hour candlestick breaks above the previous high with volume, immediately alert me and provide a short-term trading suggestion that includes a stop-loss level.”

2️⃣ The more uncertain you are, the more you should get it to work

Don't wait until you have it all figured out before placing an order. My current habit is to throw any vague thoughts I have at GetClaw to help develop my market watching and trading habits.

For example, I often say, “I feel BTC might change momentum recently; can you review the long-short ratio and significant on-chain transfers from the past 48 hours and see if my intuition is correct?”

💡 #BTC practical case studies: Three major scenarios to keep you steady

Recently, I've mostly been trading large coins, mainly BTC. I’ll share some of my most commonly used scenarios as examples:

Scenario 1: Night Watchman (Automated Monitoring)

Not long ago, I attended a spring camp organized by Bitget, which has a two-hour time difference with my country. I’m used to monitoring U.S. stocks until 9:30 PM, but over there it was 11:30 PM, which is really exhausting. Generally, I would use GetClaw as a night watchman.

My command: “Keep an eye on BTC for me; if it drops below 65,000 in the middle of the night, please close 50% of my short contracts and set a trailing take profit for the remaining positions. Additionally, help me buy 0.5 BTC in spot at 65,000. Don’t wait for me to wake up; just execute it.”

The night watchman did a great job of managing risks for me. What I love most about GetClaw is that it can trigger actions based on my logic rather than being stuck in rigid limit orders.

Scenario 2: Bottom Fishing Sniper (Technical Signal Resonance)

During a sharp market drop, people tend to panic, but AI does not.

My command: “Continuously monitor BTC; if the RSI enters the oversold zone and a bullish divergence appears at the 1-hour level, help me buy 0.1 BTC in batches.”

I don't need to constantly watch the market myself, nor do I need TradingView alerts. Once I set my technical indicators, it becomes my all-weather sniper.

Scenario 3: Range Harvesting Machine (Grid Trading)

Recently, BTC has been moving in a range between 65,000 and 70,000, oscillating for over a month. It's really frustrating.

My command: “I see BTC has been fluctuating between 65,000 and 70,000 lately. Set up a grid trading strategy in this range, buying low and selling high; even small profits add up. But remember, if the closing price drops below 65,000, immediately stop the strategy and liquidate it into USDT.”

This has saved me from many headaches; when I run the grid myself, I sometimes forget to stop. If a major sell-off occurs, the losses can be significant. AI has essentially helped me extract all the trivial profits from a consolidating market, and it comes with a built-in safety switch.
