After the article was published yesterday, attentive readers noticed a change in our public account:

We changed the original public account name "Dao Says Blockchain" to the current "Dao Says Time."

We started writing this public account at the beginning of 2019.

At that time, we did not think about how long we could write this public account or plan for future development; it was purely an idea born from a simple exchange among a few friends to share cryptocurrency projects and the crypto ecosystem, and so we casually embarked on this journey.

Therefore, both the modification of the name and the content and style of the articles are relatively free-spirited.

Gradually, with the accumulation of exchanges, sharing, and experiences, whether concerning my thoughts on the crypto ecosystem or changes in my personal experiences, the articles on this account have gone beyond the scope of the crypto ecosystem.

On one hand, this is due to the development of the crypto ecosystem. The crypto ecosystem is gradually extending into other fields and overlapping with other areas.

On the other hand, I found that the development and investment in projects within the crypto ecosystem can be completely referenced and learned from other fields in many aspects.

In this context, whether for a better understanding of the development of the crypto ecosystem or better investment in it, I inevitably have to involve other fields, such as A-shares, US stocks, precious metals, oil, economics, technology, the internet, AI, etc.

Some of these fields I have explored before and can share a bit of knowledge.

For other fields where I am also getting involved for the first time, I have to learn, so sharing might be quite awkward, but I still insist on sharing. This is both for self-motivation and to "cast a brick to attract jade," hoping to elicit feedback from readers and learn from my blind spots.

Thus, as this self-media account progressed, the articles increasingly began to cover topics outside the crypto ecosystem. In this situation, if the public account's name were still "Dao Says Blockchain," it would seem inappropriate and too narrow.

However, regardless of what range our articles cover or what information and viewpoints we share, our core and focal point have never changed:

That is everything revolves around investment, everything serves investment, and everything is grounded in investment.

Thus, we began to consider changing the public account's name, keeping "Dao Says" but altering the "Blockchain" part---it reflects our idea of being "keeping pace with the times" and also remains steadfast in "grounded in investment."

Recently, our friends finally selected the new name "Dao Says Time" from many alternatives.

My friends and I really like this name:

- It is relatively straightforward, without exaggeration, embellishment, or provocative language.

- It is more down-to-earth and gives readers a sense of mutual exchange and discussion.

- "Time" evokes a feeling of shared experience and togetherness. Whether writing articles or reading them, it is about sharing a moment of our lives with others. Since we are sharing with others, it motivates me to make this sharing better and cherish this time.

- It is not limited to a specific field but emphasizes the significant role of time in investment, learning, and all aspects of life, which is a viewpoint that many predecessors and I have always valued: letting the "compound interest" of time take effect.

Personally, among the areas I have explored, the one I am most familiar with and love the most is still the crypto ecosystem, which runs through all aspects of my life over the years and deeply influences my understanding of economics and technology; thus, this content will continue to be my focus.

However, as I mentioned earlier, with the development of technology, the intersections and overlaps between different fields are becoming increasingly evident, so I will definitely pay attention to the development of crypto-related fields and their extended areas in the future.

But this will not interfere with my attention to the crypto ecosystem; rather, it will motivate me to view this ecosystem more seriously from another perspective.

I consider there is one essential distinction I have from many people:

Many people, at the slightest hint of trouble, say "crypto is done for"; when prices crash, they are "crying out in despair."

I believe that the more these situations arise, the more one can discern which projects within the crypto ecosystem are truly valuable, and which assets are real treasures worthy of significant investment.

Therefore, our name change is not a shift in direction, but an attempt to view the crypto ecosystem and all areas we should focus on and invest in from a more macro and broader perspective.
