At press time, the heavyweight champs of crypto by market cap aren’t exactly flexing — bitcoin ( BTC) is down 1.9%, while ethereum ( ETH) has trimmed 2.4% against the U.S. dollar.
Still, after Uniswap’s latest governance proposal from the platform’s founder, UNI stole the spotlight with a 25.17% leap to its current position at $8.63 — easily snagging the title of top performer of the day so far.

Hot on its heels, Aerodrome Finance’s AERO took flight with a 13.15% climb to $1.22, while AIOZ Network’s AIOZ added 8.83% to reach $0.1819. Meanwhile, privacy coin zano (ZANO) quietly slipped into the winners’ circle with a 5.09% boost to $16.13 — though the broader privacy coin crowd hasn’t shared its good fortune.

Others joined the party, too — prom (PROM) popped 4% to $9.26, while golem (GLM) inched up 3.02% to $0.2296. Pancakeswap’s CAKE also got a taste of the Uniswap energy, rising 2.07% to $2.59. Meanwhile, livepeer (LPT) added a modest 1.35% to $5.39, and Merlin Chain’s MERL conjured up a 1.64% lift to $0.3659. But overall, as of 9 a.m. Eastern, the mood across the market is more gray skies than sunshine — most coins are dragging through a gloomy trading day.
On the flip side, zcash (ZEC) got hammered the hardest, tumbling 21.85% to $491.24. Starknet’s STRK wasn’t far behind with a 14.56% slide to $0.1642, while dash ( DASH) stumbled 13.39% to $68.62 — a rough lineup for the day’s biggest losers. Zksync’s ZK slipped 12.20% to $0.05345, while Plasma’s XPL and the aptly named meme coin fartcoin (FARTCOIN) both dropped just over 12%, landing at $0.2803 and $0.2983, respectively.
Render token (RENDER) slipped 11.12% to $2.41, trailed by kava (KAVA) dipping 9.78% to $0.1523. Synthetix’s SNX slid 9.77% to $0.8007, while meme coin spx6900 (SPX) capped off the day’s downside with a 9.41% drop to $0.6741. All told, the morning’s trading sessions haven’t exactly been crypto’s shining moment, with more coins sinking than swimming.
