Hackathon Overview
The Stellar Build Better Hackathon has successfully concluded, with 220 registered developers participating and 84 projects approved. This event aimed to promote practical applications through Stellar's smart contracts, emphasizing community collaboration and technological advancement. Participants competed in three categories, with a total prize pool of 25,000 USDC, including: Better Finance, Better Creativity, and Better Access.
Developers explored areas such as DeFi accessibility tools, cross-border payment solutions, creator economy platforms, and identity solutions. The hackathon provided an opportunity for interaction with global developers and exposure to well-known crypto companies. Additionally, there were technical workshops and live demo sessions to support participants.
In terms of results, the first prize of 12,000 USDC was awarded to a project that enhances financial accessibility. The second and third prizes received 8,000 and 5,000 USDC respectively, recognizing their innovations in creative tools and accessibility solutions. Through these awards, the event highlighted Stellar's role in promoting practical innovation and expanding the application of smart contracts within its ecosystem.

Third Place
Soroban to MCP Server in seconds + Policy Signers Playground - This solution converts Stellar Soroban smart contracts into MCP servers, enabling natural language interaction, supporting AI agents for execution, and enhancing smart contract functionality.
