Unitree Robotics unveils the 'Superman' robot: 2-meter vertical jump, top speed of 12.66m/s, surpassing human limits
Unitree Robotics has released a 30-second video showcasing their brand-new humanoid robot, 'Superman,' capable of a 2-meter vertical jump and a top speed of 12.66m/s (with a leg length of 0.85 meters), completely surpassing world records and human limits.
Currently, the human world record for vertical jumping is 1.65 meters (Javier Sotomayor, 1993), and the world record speed for the 100-meter sprint is 10.44m/s (Usain Bolt, average speed).
Unitree Robotics stated that this new model was developed in just over 3 months, with significant room for improvement in the coming months.
Recently, Unitree Robotics was listed on the STAR Market, becoming the 'first humanoid robot stock.' The IPO price was ¥150.80 per share, with a market valuation of approximately ¥60.9 billion. Founder Wang Xingxing previously addressed skepticism about 'remote-controlled toys,' stating that fully autonomous humanoid robots will still require significant technological advancements over time.
