Look at Robinhood next door—they went viral with just one CASHCAT, locking in $1 billion TVL. Robinhood faces no fewer compliance issues than OKX, but they’re out there building chains and listing tokens, creating a killer ecosystem loop. Using compliance as an excuse is starting to feel a bit weak. X Layer’s paper TVL might be as high as $2.1 billion, but the Meme share is almost negligible. If OKX steps up its game, TVL could be way more than just $2.1 billion. The good news is that official staff have clearly stated that the X Layer ecosystem will start making moves from mid-August, including MEMEs. Hopefully, this time they’ll roll up their sleeves and get it done without overthinking.
