[Survey: Digital Asset Ownership in Canada Rises to 25%]
According to a report by U Today, a recent survey conducted by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) reveals that one-quarter of Canadians now hold digital assets or crypto investment funds, up from 10% in 2023 and 13% in 2022. Meanwhile, public awareness continues to grow. Currently, nearly 59% of Canadians can correctly identify crypto assets, compared to 54% in 2023 and 51% in 2022. The survey also indicates that cryptocurrencies are increasingly being used for purposes beyond speculation. Among current cryptocurrency holders, 74% stated that they have actually used their digital assets. Additionally, 89% of stablecoin holders reported having used their stablecoins.
