Holy crap, all the business secrets, private keys, and crazy daily chats you had with AI on Claude have been fully indexed by Google. A Reddit user used a simple Google search command, site:http://claude.ai/share, and completely blew open Anthropic's privacy doors. A lot of people had a fatal misunderstanding, thinking that clicking 'Share' generated a private link, like a document. Turns out, Anthropic didn’t even add a noindex tag to block crawlers. So web crawlers followed the links and casually indexed all those pages into Google’s database. Developers left API keys and crypto wallet private keys in their chats. Lawyers consulted AI about potential professional ethics violations. Company salary tables, financial models, and unredacted resumes. Someone even asked AI if “record labels are hiding the fact that birds ghostwrite for Jay-Z.” Although Anthropic has since fixed this issue, you can still find some records through Brave search: If you’ve ever clicked Share on Claude before, go to Settings -> Privacy -> Shared Chats right now and manually revoke all your shared links.
