BlockBeats News, July 27: According to Bloomberg, citing informed sources, SoftBank Group's $40 billion bridge loan raised for investing in OpenAI has attracted 21 new lending institutions during the broader syndication financing phase. Sources revealed that these new lenders collectively secured approximately $7 billion of the loan allocation. Among them, First Abu Dhabi Bank, GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation), and Standard Chartered Bank each subscribed to nearly $1 billion. The remaining funds were allocated to several banks in Europe, Japan, and Taiwan. Sources also stated that the remaining $33 billion of the bridge loan is still held by underwriters and senior lenders but may be further syndicated in the future.
